Blues music has been here for ages. Next to the piano ( my fav instrument ) and the guitar, one of the leading instruments in this music style is the bluesharp. A small little piece of wood and iron fitting right between your lips. Needless to mention the great blues harp artists who created the blues still known until today.

Bluesharps are used in many many blues styles, from the original country blues to the urban Chicago blues. Masters on the harp include Sonny Terry (who performed life long with Brownie McGhee - listen to his Fox Chase), Little Walter (the father of urban Chicago blues harp and member of Muddy Waters band), and some of them are still performing and touring until today: Boo Boo Davis, Charlie Musselwhite, Rod Piazza .. and my brother Luc...

Luc has been playing  bluesharp for many years, after starting the blues on guitar. He masters this instrument very well, and is also an instructor in playing the blues harp ( or in Dutch: de mondharmonica). His company organizes workshops, courses, teambuilding events and individual workshops.

Recently Luc was invited on regional Belgian tv channel AVS to talk about his Mississippi saxophone.

Wanna hear Luc performing on stage with his band, Professor Deaf & the Swingaholics ... here is "Room to move".

If you want to know more about Luc's passion, visit his site

Music is the expression of the soul.
